The Scorpion King 3: Rise of the Dead) is a direct-to-video film scheduled for release January 17, 2012. It is the third installment in the
Scorpion King series; the sixth film in Universal Studios'
The Mummy franchise,
making this the second sequel of a spin-off of a sequel of a movie that
was a remake; and stars Selina Lo as an original character, Tsukai.
This film continues the story of Mathayus, after he becomes the Scorpion King at the end of the first film and focuses on Mathayus battling Tsukai while trying to stop a war in three kingdoms of Egypt.
